Supportive Therapy in Maryland

Find Balance. Build Connection. Break the Cycle.

Therapy and Mind-Body Support for Women and Children. You don’t have to hold it all together alone.

Life can feel overwhelming at times.

You may be moving through a season of change, carrying invisible stress, or noticing your child is struggling in ways that words can’t explain.

Whether you’re finding your footing in or trying to support a child who feels anxious, withdrawn, or unsure of themselves, therapy can help.

My work focuses on helping women and children build emotional safety, confidence, and resilience — both within themselves and in the relationships that matter most.

Play therapy, art, and sand tray – for expression beyond words
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – to build emotional awareness and coping strategies
Coping skills development – to help children manage stress, handle big emotions, and respond to challenges with confidence
Trauma-informed and polyvagal-based practices – to support nervous system regulation and a sense of safety
Internal Family Systems (IFS) and parts work – to explore identity and emotion gently
Nature-informed and mindfulness tools – to promote grounding, focus, and calm
Parent collaboration and coaching – because caregivers are central to the healing process

Hi, I'm Katja.

I’m a therapist who believes that healing begins when we feel truly seen and understood.

For women, that might mean rediscovering your voice after years of holding it together for everyone else. For children, it’s finding the safety and support to express what they feel inside.

My approach is relational, compassionate, and evidence-based. I draw on developmental insight, emotional awareness, and creative methods to help clients of all ages feel more grounded and capable in their daily lives.

If you’re ready to begin the process of healing and growth — for yourself or your child — I’d love to connect.
